About Me

Barney Events

At the University of Hartford, I have had the opportunity to engage in professional events that connect students with real-world business experiences. I’ve participated in etiquette dinners for guest speakers, JA in a Day, Mocktail events, and even a workshop on adaptability in today’s global supply chains. These experiences have helped me build confidence, improve my professional presence, and better understand the skills needed in today’s workplace. Now that I am taking my marketing courses, I am gaining a deeper understanding of consumer behavior and how it shapes brand strategy. I look forward to continuing to attend workshops and events that allow me to strengthen these skills and apply them to my future career.

Women In Business

Empowering women through leadership opportunities, networking, and community involvement has been an important part of my experience at the University of Hartford. Since my sophomore year, I have been involved with a new club on campus where I regularly attend meetings, contribute ideas, and take an active role in shaping its direction through fundraising. Since the club is still growing, there is always room for my input and creativity, which has enabled me to feel more connected and involved. By the end of that first semester, I was proud to help raise money and promote our organization during our first home track meet on the university’s brand-new track, an exciting milestone that helped get the club recognized within the campus community.

Campus Life

Building lasting friendships and unforgettable memories has made every moment of my college experience truly special. Having friends in different majors like criminal justice, accounting, and nursing allows me to learn new things every day and see the world from fresh perspectives. Their passion and determination constantly motivate me to keep pushing forward while I do the same for them. Together, we inspire one another to stay focused, work hard, and make the most out of our time in college. These connections are what make my journey so meaningful.

American Marketing Association Chapter

As Vice President of the American Marketing Association at the University of Hartford, I help plan events, connect with marketing professionals, and create opportunities for students to grow and learn. Being part of AMA has let me build my leadership and creative skills while supporting others who are excited about marketing.

My Mission

My goal is to help brands engage with their audience in meaningful ways by incorporating creative thinking and strategy. I focus on developing captivating advertising techniques that not only draw in customers but also motivate continual growth. Understanding each client’s distinct vision and objectives helps me provide specific approaches that enhance your brand’s visibility and create a lasting impression.
